How diligence is evidenced.

Three guarantees, each of which we can demonstrate rather than assert. This page describes what is actually built, and what we do not claim.

Citations cannot render unverified

Before any reference reaches the screen or an export, it is resolved against its public source: Dutch legislation via wetten.overheid.nl, case law via rechtspraak.nl and the ECLI register, EU law via EUR-Lex. Identifier, text and good-law status must all resolve. One gate covers both the on-screen view and the PDF, so an export cannot contain something the screen refused.

What you see in a demo

We ask the model for an authority that does not exist. The platform abstains and shows the gap, instead of producing a plausible ECLI.

A verification certificate with every advice

Releasing advice freezes its verification state. The certificate lists every cited authority with its source, licence and good-law status at the moment of release, together with a content hash of the advice itself, anchored to an append-only, hash-chained audit log.

Why it matters commercially

A complaint or a claim usually turns on what was known and checked at the time. The certificate answers that question with a record rather than a recollection.

The platform keeps watching after release

Cited case law is re-checked against the citation graph after release. If an authority is later overruled, narrowed or superseded, the firm is alerted for the specific matter that relied on it — not with a newsletter, but with a link to the file.

Scope

Monitoring covers the authorities actually cited in released advice. It is not a general legal-developments feed and does not replace the lawyer's own duty to keep current.

Why the gate exists.

Stanford's preregistered benchmark of leading commercial AI legal research tools found 17–33% of answers contained hallucinated or misapplied authority. We treat that as the design brief: a legal assistant is only useful if its failure mode is silence, not invention.
